Picchio – the Woodpecker – is a lover of nature and wide open spaces; its favourite material is wood, perhaps because the sinuous streaks hidden beneath the bark resemble him.
Artisanal to its very core, to us PICCHIO symbolises a passion for curated design and ingenious solutions. It is a perfect fusion of two different woods – maple on the outside and walnut on the inside. Picchio was designed to become an elegant bookend with a metal prop.
