Molteni&C Piroscafo

Aldo Rossi and Luca Meda have designed a piece of architecture; a large facade featuring regularly spaced windows and inspired by the Regione Umbria headquarter’s facade in Perugia. A bookcase with glass front and wood or lacquered structure and a metal front matt lacquered. Piroscafo is a versatile home cupboard – a bookcase for the study, a display cabinet for the living room or a sideboard for the kitchen. A range of open bookshelves with glass doors and square metal frame, divided into four by an inner wood or lacquered cross structure and a lacquered matt metal façade. It is possible to illuminate the inside with one or more LED lights on lids, and floors, or for the entire length of the central tops and shelves.
